We’re officially 24 hours away from launching our next Kickstarter campaign for Reality Resort alongside the release of Episode 8! We’re excited to see how our second campaign will fare!

🎯 Stretch Goals

As a reminder, this campaign aims to fund Episode 11 - our first musical episode with three original songs - but with the underlying goal of funding as many episodes as possible. Ideally, we’d be able to fund the entire season (up to Episode 18) which would give us the opportunity to finish telling our story, create a complete proof of concept and open up potential avenues for supporting the show in the future.

Right now, we have the following stretch goals revealed on our campaign page:

• Episode 11: Musical extravaganza with three original songs!
  Plus, a "Hide and Go Veto" inspired Block Battle!

• Episode 12: Intense power shifts in the most unfiltered block yet!
  Plus, a "Black Box" inspired Immunity Competition!

• Episode 13: A thrilling mystery game that will keep you guessing!
  Plus, a "To Drink or To Bluff" inspired Immunity Competition!

Whenever we hit one of these milestones, we’ll unlock the next stretch goal (aka the next episode + eviction interview). With even more competitions inspired by BB classics such as "OTEV", "Zingbot" and "The Wall", it all culminates in Episode 18, a climactic jury vote finale where a winner is finally crowned! Additionally, this includes Episode 17.5 which would be a special, shorter episode focused on our jury roundtable.

You may notice that the perceived cost-per-episode is higher in this campaign than our last one. That is for the following reasons:

• Episodes 7-9 were already storyboarded. This means that the funds raised in our first campaign for those episodes were mostly for animation and post-production. However, it covered both storyboard and animation costs for Episode 10.

• Episodes 11-18 (excluding Episode 17.5) are longer (28min-32min) than Episodes 1-10 (22-26min) since we’ll be including both competitions in them. Longer episodes = more costly to produce.

• Eviction Interviews 1-4 were storyboarded as volunteer work. Now, we’ll be paying our artist(s) more fairly for them!

• Certain episode’s competitions require more asset work — additionally, we have even more outfits to design!

We can’t stress enough that this campaign is integral to the life of the project. In order to produce the season as planned without jeopardizing it’s integrity and authenticity, these goals represent the bare minimum required to keep going. We understand it’s still a lot to ask, which is why we’ve worked diligently to offer worthwhile rewards for your support. Reality Resort is not just a passion project, but a show built by it’s community, and we’re so excited that you have the chance to help shape our future.

✍🏼 Writer’s Tokens

As a reward for one of our higher tiers and as a purchasable add-on, we are excited to announce the brand new Writer’s Tokens to this campaign! If you’ve ever wanted to leave your mark on the show, then this is your opportunity!

Tokens are redeemable for specific episodes and all submissions will be collaboratively refined with the writing team, who maintain final say to ensure continuity and preserve canon. Backers will be credited in the episode with: "Thanks to [Backer Name] for [this moment]."

• Gift Token: Pick a character and choose a fun or meaningful gift for them to receive!

• Interaction Token: Choose two characters to share a moment; it can be friendly, flirty, dramatic - you set the vibe!

• Outfit Token: Choose a piece of clothing or accessory for a character to wear in an episode!

• Penalty Token: Choose one character to receive a disadvantage in the next challenge!

• Phrase Token: Pick a word or phrase you want a character to say during an episode!

• Prank Token: Choose one character to prank another!

• Prop Token: Select a prop for a character to use, hold or mention!

• Punishment Token: Pick a character to receive a fun, over-the-top, or comically embarrassing punishment!

If purchased/selected, backers will fill out a form (after the campaign ends) to provide their requests (within the confines of the token) for the writing team to read through. This will be done to a) ensure there is no spoiling who is still in the game at any given point, considering the writing team is well ahead of storyboarding and animation, and b) preserve continuity and canon by sifting through any illogical or unserious requests.

We’re excited to offer this opportunity for our most devoted fans to impact, influence and possibly even enhance the show with their input and ideas!
