Reality Resort: Updates
🏝️ Campaign Updates: FULLY FUNDED!
It’s officially been four weeks since our Kickstarter launched, and we are incredibly grateful to the 224 backers who have supported the campaign so far.
We’ve raised $31,356 with an average pledge of $139 which means we’ve hit our $30,000 goal! Better yet, we still have 3 days to reach our first stretch goal of $42,500 for Episode 11! Additionally, all 50 slots for the Victoria plushie have been taken.
Thank you -- for your support, your shares, your pledges, your patience, and your passion. Reality Resort will be able to continue on for an additional four episodes. It’s honestly hard to put into words how much this means; the genuine outpouring of love for our show is incredibly humbling and deeply gratifying. For an independent project without a studio behind it, this kind of support is everything. It shows there's a real appetite for shows like this. You believed in us when it mattered most, and we’ll never forget that!

🎬 Episode 7 Production
Work on Episode 7 has already begun! While animation won’t officially kick off until next week, we’ve restarted our production process to ensure a smooth transition.
We’re currently targeting a 5–6 week turnaround, which puts the release right around the end of July/beginning of August — fittingly close to the one-year anniversary of Episode 1’s premiere on July 29. It’s wild to think how far we’ve come since then, and we can’t wait to share the next chapter with you.
⁉️ What About Episodes 11-18?
We’re beyond grateful that we’ve been able to hit our funding goal to greenlight Episodes 7-10. But as many of you know, that’s just half the season. We’re committed to making Reality Resort in its entirety, and while this campaign has bought us the time and resources to move forward, we’re still actively exploring ways to secure funding for Episodes 11–18.
There’s a possibility that we’ll launch a second campaign for the back half of the season, ideally with even better perks and new rewards, but we’re hoping to avoid that route if other opportunities come through. If a second campaign does happen, it would likely go live around the release of Episode 9.
If we can fund the full season, we’ll be able to expand our animation team and bring in more artists, helping us deliver some of our most ambitious episodes yet including musical and mystery-themed episodes we’re really excited about.
Thanks to your support, we’ve bought ourselves a window to keep building momentum and we’re going to make the most of it.

🔵 $80,000 → Episode 14
🟣 $135,000 → Episodes 15-18, including Jury Roundtable
Most episodes between Ep11-18 will be longer than the usual 25 minutes that we strive for during the Team Phase. This is because we will be including both competitions in the episodes, meaning each episode will have an eviction. Thus, these episodes will cost more to produce.
